This image shows the monument in the surrounding terrain that will bring students of Architecture, Architectural Computing and Engineering together. The monument is situated on top of a coastal cliff area and faces out toward the west so that the afternoon sun will project the light controlled design concept of Antonio Gaudi.
This image is taken looking back at the monument and the meeting place in the foreground which shows the Light Controlled Design of the Sculptural monument. The light passes through the monument and screens to define different area on the meeting space through the us of shadows.
This image looking through the lower level of the meeting area, the use ofthe ustom textures from light to dark can be seen here. the back wall is displaying one texture design from light to dark, from right to left. This is to demonstrate well light and more darker areas of the monument.
This is a view looking back at the monument at night showing the use of different coloured lights to highlight the screens and the sculptural elements of the monument.
This is an image of the view standing on a part of the lower level of the sculptural part of the monument. The image shows some custom textures that have been applied to the pillars and also the dark grey colour applied to the curved parts. The way that light divides areas of the meeting space can be seen through this photo as well.
