EXP3 Week1

I have a Swedish background and found this valley in the north of the country

and here it is after I re-created it in the CryEngine Environment.

Coke cut level Facebook is as pleasurable Take-Two takes over Civilization

It's been a busy week for Take-Two interactive According to the Centre for Science in the Public Interest Posting views on Facebook and other social media sites delivers a powerful reward to the brain. "We are NOT changing our recipe," Coca Cola Company spokesman said in an email the study led by two neuroscientists and published this week concluded that Take-Two revealed it will take over one of the most successful and acclaimed PC franchises in game history. The drink maker said their popular and highly secretive recipe would not reveal their pact's exact terms. Although Facebook was not specifically cited in the study the series has consistently won plaudits.  Sold the rights to its region of the brain associated with dopamine, a chemical associated with pleasure or the anticipation of a reward. Coke says the change will be rolled out globally.

The Sculptural Design of a Building is Defined by the Pervasive Quality of Light.

5 Images:

This image shows the monument in the surrounding terrain that will bring students of Architecture, Architectural Computing and Engineering together. The monument is situated on top of a coastal cliff area and faces out toward the west so that the afternoon sun will project the light controlled design concept of Antonio Gaudi.

This image is taken looking back at the monument and the meeting place in the foreground which shows the Light Controlled Design of the Sculptural monument. The light passes through the monument and screens to define different area on the meeting space through the us of shadows.

This image looking through the lower level of the meeting area, the use ofthe ustom textures from light to dark can be seen here. the back wall is displaying one texture design from light to dark, from right to left. This is to demonstrate well light and more darker areas of the monument.

This is a view looking back at the monument at night showing the use of different coloured lights to highlight the screens and the sculptural elements of the monument.

This is an image of the view standing on a part of the lower level of the sculptural part of the monument. The image shows some custom textures that have been applied to the pillars and also the dark grey colour applied to the curved parts. The way that light divides areas of the meeting space can be seen through this photo as well.

Concept
I decided to include this photo as an extra to the submission as I believe that it will help in the explanation of the structure in relation to the two concepts and the two architects. the first architect is Richard Rogers and I decided to use his concept of "sculptural" that he uses throughout his works. This concept can be seen in the upward aspect of the monument through the use of abstract and curved members to demonstrate the sculptural aspects of Richard Roger's works. This part of the monument also shows a connection to Antonio Gaudi's works with the curved and irregular pieces that are similar to his works. The second architect is Antonio Gaudi I decided to follow the concept of Light Controlled Design that he is so well known for. This is represented through the "screens" that represent patterns i used n the custom textures and will in turn project a light and dark area onto the meeting place creating the concept of "light controlled design." The new concept I came up with through Electroliquid Aggregation is that "the sculptural Design of a Building is Defined by the Pervasive Quality of Light," and this represented through the monument as a whole with the shadows that will be cast onto the meeting place in the cryengine model.

Week3 EXP2

Shadows
here are the 36 custom textures i came up with in my sketch book. I decided to start with 6 different designs and work each one of them up from light to dark.

I plan on using a couple of different textures in the models but hopefully use all 6 light to dark from one design to show the variations of light to dark in a particular area. The photo below is showing how I used the different textures from light to dark or left to right in the photo, also another texture can be seen on the wall on the left hand side of the image.

Week2 Exp 2

Electroliquid Aggregation

The two concepts that i have come up with are "Light Controlled Design" for Antonio Gaudi and "Sculptural" for Richard Rogers. The new Concept or Electroliquid Aggregation that I came up with is "the Sculptural Design of a building is defined by the Pevasive Quality of Light." This statement combines both concepts of both the architects as it highlights the importance that a light controlled design can have on the sculptural aspects of a building.
